Let us discuss the climate and the earth in relation to the current political climate on those issues(no pun intended). There are radical socialists in the US Congress claiming that we only have 10-12 years left to “save the planet” from man-made Climate Change. They claim we must get rid of all fossil fuels, stop eating animal flesh or meat, stop driving, stop flying, de-carbonize everything including our houses, etc. Oh, and don’t forget they want to seize our legally owned firearms.
The bill? Double digit trillions of dollars. But the biggest cost is our liberty. It will take a tyrannical government to force and control all of those things. If given the opportunity, those radical socialists would strip all of our God-given liberties in order to implement their socialist paradise.
If those radical socialists were to attain power, the Federal Government would control everything we do. What we eat (starvation rations without meat), where we live (in a hive somewhere), transportation (no private vehicles), where we work (if there are any jobs remaining), what we say, what we think, how long we live, how and who we worship, whether or not we can have medical care, how much air conditioning and heat, if any we can have, and any other thing you can think of.
Forget about infrastructure. There would be none without oil. There will be no public services; electricity, water, sewage, and groceries will all be in short supply. These folks want to take us back to the serfdom of the dark ages. Life will be fair. We will all be equal. Equally miserable, that is. But the socialists in charge will live in luxury, just like Royalty. That is their ultimate desire. History proves that. Think of the socialist paradises of Cuba and Venezuela.
What is their real goal? Communism.
Frankly, I agree with what Patrick Henry said on March 23, 1775 at the Second Virginia Convention:
“Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”
We are in no danger of destroying this planet. Fossil fuels, meat, liberty, etc. are a gift from God. We are responsible to be good stewards. That means caring of the earth, while using its resources, all of them, wisely. That does not mean I am in favor of pollution. No, I am not. Who is? No one. Man-made Climate Change is a myth.
Humans will not destroy this planet. How do I know? God, our Creator said so. Gen 8:21-22, “And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.“
The earth will remain until the end of time, which is the Day of the Lord. That day will be determined by God:
Mat 24:35-36, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
When that day comes there will be nothing on earth any human being or government will be able to do to stop it.
We humans are extremely arrogant if we think we can destroy what God created.
Do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior? He is going to return to the world soon. Are you ready? When He does if you do not know Him as your Savior, you will join all those who do not know Him in “Outer Darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Mat 22:13-14).
Creation deniers talk of ice age not Noah’s flood. So if ice was receding for millions of years ice will recede until the oceans rise and we drown on dry land. Unless we cover the sky with tax dollars to block the sun. If people are destroying the environment then how come aborting millions of babies has not improved the environment.

The lefty Marxism is all about returning us to being their impoverished slaves and them returning to being our rich slave masters. By the strangest coincidence, Marxism was started by the academe, who were all members of the European royal family, right after the royals lost control of the people because the people revolted. Basically, the spoiled rich royals want their surfs, peasants, and peons back.
As you and I have discussed in the past, Marxism is a work of Satan. It is based on lies and Satan is the father of lies. Royalty used a misreading of Romans 13:1-7, to claim Divine Right to their office. They used Romans 13:3-4 to claim their totalitarian reigns of terror were from God: “For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you wish to have no fear of the authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive its approval; for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for the authority does not bear the sword in vain! It is the servant of God to execute wrath on the wrongdoer.”
