The Bible Church Online is an online church dedicated to the expository teaching and study of God’s Word in an understandable process, which is the best way to a more complete understanding of the Word. The primary mission of The Bible Church Online is the examination, study and analysis of Scripture. After all, the Scripture instructs us to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” The Bible Church Online is intended for everyone, including unbelievers and believers alike. Truly, unbelievers may become believers just by studying the Word of God. One goal of The Bible Church Online is to help Christians to mature in God’s Word. Another goal is to open the Scriptures to all who visit this site. A third goal is to present the Gospel to everyone.

Let us be clear. This website, The Bible Church Online is designed strictly for Bible study. It is NOT a substitute for meeting with others at least weekly in your local Church. The Scripture tells us:

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens—Jesus the Son of God—let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus— he has inaugurated for us a new and living way through the curtain (that is, through his flesh)— and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.

Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful. And let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching. (Heb 4:14-16; 10:19-25 CSB)

To mature in God’s Word means to study His Word thoroughly. This includes the exposition of the scripture and verse by verse study. Exposition of the scriptures allows us to study verse by verse and to take into consideration all the variables and parameters of the scripture. This involves the context, the subject matter, the original languages, and the depths of what God wrote in His Word. That is what we try to do at The Bible Church Online.

The single, overriding subject of the entire Bible is Jesus the Christ. Jesus is evident from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. He is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega, the Aleph and Tav. God, the Father, has provided sinful mankind with an opportunity to receive salvation. That salvation can ONLY come through the shedding of the innocent and perfect blood of the man, Jesus the Christ. The whole Bible is concerned throughout with that one purpose, that is, the salvation of mankind. The Bible gives us exhaustive “ensamples” or examples of this purpose. Every story in the Old Testament is an example of Jesus Christ and his atoning work for our salvation.

At the Bible Church Online, God’s Word is the authority and spiritual maturity is the object. Each Bible Study or Topical Study is based on the expository teaching of God’s Word, chapter and verse. We are interested in what GOD says, not what the traditions of men and/or churches teach.

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15)

Do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior? He is going to return to the world soon. Are you ready? When He does if you do not know Him as your Savior, you will join all those who do not know Him in “Outer Darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Mat 22:13-14).
