The Christian and Judgment

(Romans 14.-10-12) all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  For it is written,
"As I live, says the LORD, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue confess to God."
So then each one of us will give account concerning himself to God.

A sobering word on the appearance of the Christian before the august and holy tribunal of the Christ.

The certain coming of that day should have present far-reaching and humbling effects on the Christian in every single aspect of his or her daily life.

Scripture readings:  Romans 14.1-13, Revelation 1.9-20, 2Corinthians 5.9-11, Matthew 7.1-6, 2Samuel 6.1-11, Ecclesiastes 11.9, Jeremiah 17.9-10, 1Corinthians 4.1-5, Hebrews 4.12-13, 1Corinthians 3.5-17, (1John 1.5-7, 1John 1.9), 1Corinthians 12.4-11, Ecclesiastes 12.13-14.
