This brief study is an adaptation of an e-mail correspondence regarding the Biblical standpoint on homosexuality. The question I received and the answer I gave are here presented as an affirmation in short and simple terms.
The author entreats that his commentary hold no element in one's determination of the truth. As with all humanity, my sin, too, leaves me short of the glory of God. I conclude myself as Job, "Behold, I am vile". A fallen creature can hardly aspire to understand in totality, interpret with precision, and completely communicate the immeasurable breadth, length, depth, and height of the blessed Creator's word. Attainment of the purest Bible knowledge, understanding, and wisdom a human can hope for is solely by ever diligently seeking after God, not through the writings and commentaries and expositions of mortals, but through His only begotten Son Jesus, Whose "name is called The Word of God."
My writings are imperfect, wholly inept, needless. Yet should it please the Holy Spirit to even faintly enlighten one through my humble efforts in His word of truth, then all credit and thanks must be directed and given to our Father in the heavens as I know and can know nothing apart from Him.

"I was on the [inter]net tonight and came across a [particular] web site . . . It is interesting and they have subjects you can click on to and it tells you what the Bible says about them. So I brought up Homosexuality. . . . I want to know . . . what the Bible really says no holds bar[r]ed. . . . I was looking over the papers that I printed out on homosexuality and found that there are only one [or] two passages in the bible [which] state [that] being gay is wrong . . ."
The LORD God Almighty does not change:
(Malachi 3:6-) For I am the LORD, I change not;
Neither, therefore, does His Word. For it is written:
(Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
And Who is Jesus Christ?
(Revelation 19:11-,-13) And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and He That sat upon him (-13) is called The Word of God.
The immutable Word states that two or three witnesses establish a matter:
(Deuteronomy 19:15) One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
(Matthew 18:16) But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
(2Corinthians 13:1) This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
So let us establish two or three witnesses from the unchangeable Word of God.
Homosexuality: acceptable or unacceptable in the eyes of our Father?
Witness one:
(Leviticus 18:22) Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Witness two:
(Leviticus 20:13) If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Witness three:
Our English word "sodomy" is derived from the Hebrew "çedom," i.e. Sodom (of Sodom and Gomorrah infamy). "Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary" backs this, even stating that its etymology stems:
"fr[om] the homosexual proclivities of the men of the city in Gen[esis] 19:1-11"{*1}
How is the Sodomitic life-style described by the immutable Word?
(2Peter 2:6-8) And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live UNGODLY; (7) And delivered just Lot, vexed with the FILTHY CONVERSATION of the WICKED: (8) (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their UNLAWFUL DEEDS;) (Emphasis mine.)
(Jude 7) Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner giving themselves over to FORNICATION, and GOING AFTER STRANGE FLESH, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (Emphasis mine.)
Any organization, ministry, denomination, church, or individual teaching incongruously with these witnesses is but a liberal-minded tool of Satan. Any law or statue contradicting these witnesses is by the hand of the same.
